About Wooden post insulators

Securely attach your conductors to wooden posts with our insulators specifically designed for wooden posts, available from FG Edwards. The insulator prevents current from leaking into the post and being lost to ground—without a quality insulator, even the best energizer won't be able to maintain sufficient voltage along your farm fence.

We offer screw-in insulators for quick and secure installation, nail-in insulators for hard posts, offset insulators that move the wire away from the post to prevent contact with the wood, and snap-in models for corners and tension posts. Each type is designed for a specific use in your fence line—the insulator for a straight section does not have the same requirements as one for a corner post.
