About Solvents and thinners
Solvents and thinners at FG Edwards are the indispensable consumables for any serious painting job — for diluting oil paints to the right consistency, cleaning brushes and rollers after use, degreasing surfaces before application and dissolving dried paint residue on equipment.
With eight products, our selection covers the most commonly used solvents in agricultural and renovation settings: mineral spirits for oil-based paints and general cleaning, specific paint thinners for formulas requiring viscosity adjustment, and specialized cleaners for spraying equipment and painting tools. Safe handling of solvents requires adequate ventilation—especially in enclosed buildings during winter.
