About Snow fences

Reduce snow accumulation in your driveways and walkways with our snow fences available at FG Edwards. Snow fencing is a simple and economical barrier that slows the wind and forces snow to settle before reaching your walkways—a proven solution for reducing snow removal time and costs during the long winters of the Eastern Townships.

Our plastic or wire mesh snow fences can be installed in the fall in minutes using stakes and are easily taken down in the spring. Position the fence approximately 30 to 50 meters upwind of the area to be protected, perpendicular to the prevailing wind, for maximum effectiveness. Snow will accumulate on the leeward side of the fence rather than in your driveway or on your farm road.
