About Corner/voltage insulators

Securely anchor your conductors at changeover and endpoint locations with our corner and tension insulators from FG Edwards. Corners, ends, and tension points are the most stressed areas of an electric fence—the insulator used must withstand tensile forces far greater than those found on straight sections.

Our product range includes screw-in corner insulators for changes of direction on wooden poles, end-of-line insulators to anchor the conductor at the end of the run, and tension insulators designed to withstand the mechanical load of taut wires. A poor corner insulator creates a weak point where current leaks and the wire wears prematurely from friction—it's one of the first things to check when the voltage drops.
