FirstMate dogs

FirstMate dog food is a Canadian brand from British Columbia known for its limited-ingredient recipes that simplify feeding dogs with food sensitivities or allergies. Each formula uses a single source of animal protein and a minimal number of ingredients, making it easier to identify problem foods during a veterinary elimination diet.

With 10 FirstMate products in its inventory, FG Edwards offers formulas based on Pacific fish, chicken, lamb, and other unique proteins. FirstMate manufactures all of its kibble in its own factory in British Columbia, ensuring complete control over the quality and traceability of each batch. This vertically integrated approach remains rare in the industry and demonstrates a serious commitment to food safety.
