About Tape/rope insulators

Properly install your electrical tapes and cords with our dedicated insulators for these conductors from FG Edwards. Tape and cord have different dimensions and properties than conventional wire — they require wide-bore insulators that guide the conductor without pinching, bending, or rubbing it, thus extending its lifespan and maintaining its conductivity.

We offer roller insulators for tape routing around corners and tension posts, wide clip insulators to fit different tape widths, and cable guides for semi-permanent installations. An insulator that's too narrow for your tape will bend the conductor and break the internal metal strands over time, reducing conductivity and creating invisible weak points in your fence.
