De-icing and traction

Keep your driveways, sidewalks, and steps safe all winter long with our de-icers and traction products from FG Edwards. Freezing rain is one of the most insidious dangers of a Quebec winter—an icy surface can cause serious falls in seconds. A good de-icer or traction product applied at the right time makes all the difference.

Our range includes conventional de-icing salts and low-temperature ice melters for extreme cold, traction sand and gravel, salt and sand mixtures, as well as gentler products for concrete surfaces and areas near plantings. Each product has its advantages depending on the temperature, surface type, and proximity to vegetation—our advisors can guide you to the best choice for your situation.
