Shovels, rakes and tools

Shovels, rakes, and gardening tools at FG Edwards form the backbone of any well-maintained garden. With 89 products, our tool department is one of the most comprehensive in our store—because a good tool, well-suited to the task and the gardener's physique, makes all the difference between a pleasant day of gardening and an exhausting one.

You'll find shovels and spades for turning and aerating the soil, forks for working compost and soil amendments, rakes for leveling and cleaning flowerbeds, hoes and hand cultivators for weeding between vegetable rows, ergonomic weeders for working standing up and protecting your back, and small precision tools for greenhouse and container gardening. Our tools with ash wood or fiberglass handles offer a good balance between durability and lightness for everyday use.
