EquiShure is a dietary supplement for the digestive health of horses suspected of suffering from or at risk of developing large intestinal acidosis. Its encapsulation technology ensures targeted release directly into the large intestine.

Large intestinal acidosis is characterized by a drop in pH due to the microbial fermentation of starches and sugars, such as fructans, and the resulting excessive accumulation of lactic acid in the large intestine. EquiShure is suitable for all horses susceptible to subclinical acidosis. These horses often exhibit one or more signs that can impair their athletic performance and reduce their growth or reproductive potential.

Signs of subclinical acidosis include decreased feed intake, or even complete loss of appetite in severe cases, mild to moderate colic of unexplained origin, poor feed efficiency and significant weight loss, decreased performance, and the development of undesirable behaviors such as chewing wood, ticking noises, and pacing incessantly in the stall. Maintaining a stable intestinal environment with EquiShure is important to promote proper digestion and optimal nutrient absorption.

How to use EquiShure?

Administer 30 to 180 g per day depending on the horse's size and risk of intestinal acidosis. Consult the table below to determine the recommended daily dose based on the grain ration, type of forage, and the horse's weight. Add EquiShure to the feed or administer orally.

For racehorses, it is recommended to discontinue administration of this product 24 hours before competition. For best results, divide the dose equally between meals. 1 scoop = approximately 30 g
