is a robust and reliable system to automatically open your chicken coop door in the morning and close it in the evening when light levels drop, ensuring the safety of your birds and giving you peace of mind.

Powered by just 4 AA batteries (included), our Advance Chicken Coop Door Opener is easy to install on any coop with a vertical sliding (or swinging) door. The all-in-one design makes installation a breeze—no complicated wiring or limit switches to attach to your coop. Simply attach the control box to the front of your coop with the 2 screws provided, attach the lifting cord to your existing door, and you're ready to go. No manual calibration is required; the ChickSafe Advance automatically adjusts to the height of your coop door.

Like the Eco model, the ChickSafe Advance features a new, patent-pending mechanism with a single moving part and no mechanical switches for ultimate reliability. Weather-resistant and made from UV-resistant materials, it's designed to operate in extreme conditions and can lower and raise a door weighing up to 8 lbs. It also features an automatic shut-off if a chicken obstructs the door.

Because ChickSafe works by detecting light levels and slow changes in light, it is unaffected by car headlights at night. For your convenience, the sensitivity to low light is adjustable, and an indicator light shows whether the door is open, closed, if the batteries are low, or if there is a malfunction. The battery level is also displayed on the digital screen.

Unlike the entry-level Eco model, the ChickSafe Advance features fully digital, menu-driven controls with a real-time programmable timer and fully manual door control, allowing the user to open or close the door at a set time and bypass the automatic system. With the simple press of a button, the user can open or close the door at any time, or hold it in its current position until the control is overridden – useful if they are trying to isolate birds in the coop.

The ChickSafe Advance also features a unique weekend sleeping function that allows the user to delay the opening of the door in the morning 2 days out of 7 to a selected time, which can be used to keep birds confined for longer on weekends.
