The new EcoGlow Safety 1200 chick brooder is ideal for raising up to 35 newly hatched chicks or ducklings (20-25 older chicks depending on age and size) and is suitable for all waterfowl or game bird chicks and to the classroom hatches.

The new EcoGlow Safety chick brooders use a metal heating plate to even out hot and cold spots that occur with plastic heating plates and to improve heat radiation. The new flared skirt design retains more heat, reducing energy consumption.

Unlike other chick hot plates, Brinsea EcoGlow brooders operate on 12 volts from a supplied mains transformer - a much safer option than mains voltage and feature a generous 10ft power cable. Its 4 adjustable feet allow you to adjust the height according to the size of the chicks.
