The perforations of the Mega 3 (Type 3) drain provide sluice of more than 3 mm .

• In the presence of iron ocher, the shape and size of Mega 3 openings reduce the possibility of clogging and obstruction of perforations , and facilitate cleaning when necessary.
• The Mega 3 drain should always be coated when installed in agricultural land due to the absence of clean stone backfill.
• When installed with clean stone backfill (in building drainage), the Mega 3 drain should never be coated.
