Kitten food:

Kittens typically start nibbling on solid food around 3 to 4 weeks of age. Always provide them with moistened Purina® Cat Chow® Complete food. Mix one part liquid with three parts Purina Cat Chow® Complete, frequently changing the mixture to ensure freshness.

After weaning, around 6 to 8 weeks of age, kittens generally eat dry or moistened food ad libitum. Implement a free-feeding system, always leaving food in the bowl. Adjust the amount of food according to your kitten's needs to help them maintain a healthy weight.

Nutrition during reproduction:

Purina® Cat Chow® Complete provides the extra nutrients needed by breeding females during gestation and lactation. Food intake may vary during gestation; therefore, feed only the amount necessary to maintain the pregnant female in good physical condition. Feed intake may double or even quadruple during lactation.

Dietary advice:

Any change to your cat's diet should be made gradually to allow them to get used to the new food. Replace the old food with the new food progressively, increasing the proportion of the new food and decreasing the proportion of the old, over a period of 7 to 10 days.
