Instructions for use:

Press the switch, insert the thermometer and wait approximately one minute for the temperature to stabilize (a beep will warn you).

Troubleshooting:

If the thermometer does not turn on, the battery may be dead.

To change the battery: Remove the blue cap located at the end of the thermometer. Remove the battery using a pin or an unbent paperclip and replace it with an identical battery. Replace the blue cap.
