Why molasses works
The sweet scent carries, and it carries fast. Poured over corn, molasses sticks to the grain and holds deer on the site longer. Poured onto a stump or a fallen log, it marks the spot and draws game from further out than grain alone.

How to use

• Pour over your corn and stir — the grain takes a coating and the scent holds better than on bare ground.
• Or pour straight onto a stump, a fallen log or a rock, at muzzle height.
• Molasses is water-soluble. After heavy rain, put more down.
• One jug covers several applications on the same site. Start generously, then maintain.
• Store the jug where it won’t freeze.

Legal note
Baiting white-tailed deer is permitted from 1 September to 30 November only. Outside that period, feeding cervids is prohibited. Saline substances remain permitted year-round.
